Insurance Coverage

We’ll Help You Navigate Insurance

Dental insurance can be confusing, so our care coordination team is here to help. We identify your coverage, check your benefits, and help maximize what your plan may cover to lower your out-of-pocket costs.

Coverage depends on the kind of plan you have.

Our team can help you understand whether your insurance includes out-of-network benefits and how that may apply to care at our offices. HMO and DMO plans generally cannot be used here, while some PPO and indemnity-style plans may still offer benefits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

We are out of network with all dental insurers, but that rarely means you’ll pay full price out of pocket. Many PPO plans include out-of-network benefits that still cover a meaningful portion of your care.

Our team can review your plan, explain your benefits, and help you understand what your out-of-pocket costs may be before treatment begins.

Why are you out-of-network?

We are out of network with dental insurance because it allows us to provide a higher level of service. Instead of working within the limits of an insurance contract, we can focus on the time, attention, and treatment planning each patient needs.

That does not always mean paying the full cost out of pocket. Many PPO plans include out-of-network benefits, and our team will help you understand how those benefits may apply to your visit. In many cases, preventive services like exams, cleanings, and X-rays may still be covered at a high level, and eligible patients may not owe anything out of pocket for those visits.

The best way to know what your actual cost may be is to call your local office. We’ll review your benefits, explain what we find, and help you understand your options before treatment begins.

What information should I have when I call about insurance?

Bring as much as you can: employer name, patient name and date of birth, subscriber name and date of birth, insurance carrier if known, and your member ID, subscriber ID, or SSN if available. If you do not have everything, call anyway—our team can often help figure out the rest.

Can I combine a savings plan with insurance?

No. Our Dental Savings Plan and Perio Savings Plan are designed for patients without an active PPO dental insurance plan and cannot be combined with third-party insurance coverage.

When does my savings plan start? Can I sign up online?

We typically enroll patients at the time of their visit so they can maximize the benefits of the full service year included in the plan. Our team handles the signup directly and will walk you through the process.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that life happens and plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance so we can offer that time to another patient. Appointments canceled without notice may incur a $50 rescheduling fee.

Ready to breathe easier?

We’ll help you understand insurance, savings plans, and payment options so you can move forward with more clarity.
