Dr. Amanda was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Despite functionally working as a full-time gymnast growing up, she won a BASF scholarship to study chemical engineering at Louisiana State University, but luckily for us she switched to Biological Sciences and graduated summa cum laude, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry—again graduating with high honors.

Dr. Amanda began her career focused on cosmetic dentistry, but her own experience with outdated orthodontic treatment—including an unnecessary and harmful bicuspid extraction—sparked a shift. She’s now passionate about merging aesthetics with airway-focused care to treat root causes, not just appearances. Her goal? To help children avoid the complications she faced, and to empower every patient with personalized, gentle, and comprehensive treatment that supports total health.
Outside the office
Dr. Amanda is always up for an adventure—especially if it involves a passport. At home, she’s busy with her two beloved fur babies: Mr. Nola (her pup) and Roux (her cat), both proudly named after her hometown. She also loves staying active, connecting with family and friends, and soaking up life’s joyful moments.
