Dr. Matt Hicks

Dr. Matt Hicks grew up in Bridge City, Texas, and built an impressive path in both academics and athletics before pursuing dentistry. While earning dual degrees in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, he pitched for the Ragin’ Cajuns baseball team and remains the only student-athlete in school history to complete two separate degrees in four years. He later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.
Fun Fact: Dr. Hicks may be the leading Invisalign® educator in the world today.

Dr. Matt is a nationally recognized expert in clear aligner orthodontics. He serves as faculty, consultant, and presenter for Align Technology, has trained more than 2,000 doctors through Molis Coaching, and travels across the country giving more than 50 presentations each year. His work combines clinical expertise with a deep commitment to advancing orthodontic education.
Outside the office
Dr. Matt and his wife, Cydni, share their home with a beagle named Tito and a cat named Juju. Outside of work, he enjoys Astros games, exploring Houston’s food scene, and tracking down hidden local favorites. Ask him for a restaurant recommendation.
