Frequently Asked Questions

Where should I park at the Woodforest office?

Street parking is available directly in front of the office on Pine Market Avenue. Additional parking is available in the parking lot behind the building.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

When you arrive, you’ll be warmly greeted by our reception team. If you haven’t completed your paperwork online, we’ll help you take care of it and enter your appointment quickly (no long waits!). During your visit, we’ll review your health history with you, take digital x-rays and a full iTero® scan, complete your cleaning (if a deep cleaning isn’t needed), and perform a comprehensive exam—including oral cancer screening, airway assessment, sleep questionnaire, and dental evaluation.

You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and talk with your doctor—no rush, no pressure. Before you leave, you’ll receive a personalized treatment plan and we’ll even start your treatment on the same day, when possible.

Do you accept my insurance?

We work with most major dental PPOs, including Cigna, Aetna, Guardian, MetLife, and United Healthcare. If you’re not sure whether your plan is accepted, our care coordinators can check your benefits and walk you through what to expect.

What if I don’t have insurance?

No insurance? No problem. We offer a Dental Savings Plan that gives you access to preventive care—like cleanings, exams, and x-rays—plus 20% off most other services, all for one flat annual fee. There are no deductibles, no waiting periods, and no surprise fees.

We also provide flexible financing options through CareCredit and in-house payment plans to help make treatment accessible and stress-free.

Is your office kid-friendly?

Absolutely. We welcome patients of all ages, and our team is especially experienced in caring for children. From gentle cleanings to early airway screenings, we create a positive, low-stress environment to help kids feel safe and supported during their visits.

Have a little one who might be tagging along? Feel free to call ahead—we’re happy to let you know what to expect.

What makes airway-focused dentistry different?

Airway-focused dentistry looks beyond your teeth to understand how your breathing, sleep, and oral development are connected. Instead of just treating symptoms—like cavities, grinding, or crowding—we look for the root cause.
