ORTHODONTIC CARE
Invisalign®
Planned with experience, precision, and airway health in mind
At The Airway Dentists, Invisalign® is planned with close attention to bite, space, and long-term function — not just straight teeth. Our team brings advanced experience to every case, including the kind of expertise other dentists seek out for training and guidance.
Led by Doctors Who Help Shape the Field
Invisalign® outcomes depend on more than the trays themselves. They depend on how treatment is planned. Our doctors bring advanced clinical experience, Diamond Plus provider status, and a track record of teaching Invisalign® technique to other dentists — helping ensure your treatment supports both appearance and function.
- Diamond Plus Experience: Our practice has reached the highest tier of Invisalign® provider status, reflecting a high volume of successful cases.
- Educators in the Field: Dr. Matt Hicks and Dr. Kalli Hale are known for helping train other dentists in advanced Invisalign® planning and technique.
- Airway-Aware Planning: We look beyond straightening teeth alone, planning treatment with the bite, jaw position, and airway in mind.
WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT
Not All Invisalign® Is Created Equal
The same aligners can lead to very different outcomes depending on how treatment is planned.
Many providers use Invisalign® to straighten teeth alone. At The Airway Dentists, we plan treatment with the bite, jaw position, and airway in mind — so your results support both appearance and function.
Who Can Benefit from Invisalign®?
Invisalign® can be adapted across ages and stages, with treatment planned around each patient’s needs.
Adults
Invisalign® can be a strong option for adults who want to improve alignment without braces.
Relapse: Teeth have shifted after braces or were never fully corrected.
Crowding or spacing: Teeth feel too tight, overlap, or have noticeable gaps.
Bite issues: Can help address overbites, cross-bites, open bites, and other alignment concerns.
Mild sleep apnea support: In some mild cases, Invisalign® may play a role in a broader airway-focused treatment plan.
Teens
For teens, Invisalign® offers a more flexible and discreet way to straighten teeth.
Confidence: Clear trays avoid the look of traditional braces in photos and everyday life.
Hygiene: Because the trays are removable, brushing and flossing stay simple.
Comfort: Smooth plastic aligners reduce the irritation and emergencies that can come with wires and brackets.
Kids
For children who have completed Phase 1 treatment, Invisalign® can help guide the next stage.
Phase 2 treatment: A good fit for kids who are ready to align newly erupted adult teeth.
Finishing Support: After early orthodontics has created space and supported airway health, Invisalign® helps refine tooth position.
Familiar Routine: Children who are already used to oral appliances often transition easily to clear aligners.

ASK THE EXPERTS
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does treatment take?
Most cases fall in the 6–18-month range. Because we use advanced digital planning, treatment is often faster and more predictable than traditional braces.
Am I a candidate if my teeth are very crooked?
Yes. Invisalign® technology has advanced significantly. We treat mild, moderate, and even severe crowding and bite issues (such as overbites and crossbites) effectively with clear aligners.
Is it more expensive than braces?
Actually, Invisalign® is comparable in cost to traditional braces. Our $3,999 special is often more affordable than metal braces at other offices.
Does it hurt?
You may feel mild pressure for a day or two when you switch to a new tray — this means it’s working! It is generally much more comfortable than the tightening and poking of metal braces.
I was previously told I'm not a candidate for Invisalign®. Is that still true?
Not necessarily. Invisalign® technology has evolved dramatically, and treatment outcomes depend heavily on the doctor designing the plan. Many patients who were told ‘no’ years ago — or by providers who don’t handle complex cases — can now be treated successfully. A 3D scan and consultation will give you a clear, personalized answer.
